The case concerns a copyright infringement dispute between Suraj News Network Pvt. Ltd. (SNN), a legacy newswire service, and DelabyteAI Inc., a developer of Large Language Models. The dispute arises from the alleged unauthorized use of SNN's archives to train "DelabyteGPT-Bharat" and the generation of output that resembles SNN's proprietary bulletins.
